January Meeting – My Photographic Journey by Gary Meredith

Gary is a freelance photographer based in Perth.  He was a winner in the Nature Photographer of the Year 2019 and the Australia Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year in 2020.   Gary’s main passion is photographing dingos and has recently held an exhibition in Exmouth with some really stunning images. He joined WAUPS last year as he has started to explore underwater photography.  

His expertise is in capturing urban wildlife and the talk will be about his personal photography journey, from the early days of learning the basics to an in-depth look at the art of photography. He has lots of stories photographing such creatures as possums, dingos, dragons and rainbow bee-eaters.
